The short version: the site itself collects nothing about you, and never anything about your children.

On this site

There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking scripts. The pictures and fonts are served from this site. Your house rules and your view settings are saved in your own browser, on this device only, so the site remembers them next time; we never receive them, and clearing your browser's site data removes them.

We never collect information about your children. The house rules describe your household's lines, not a child.

The weekly email

If you sign up, your email address is kept by our email service, Buttondown, and used only to send the weekly email. Every email has a one-click way to stop. We do not sell or share the address. The sign-up is for parents and other adults.

Store links

Under a review you may find links to stores. Following one takes you to that store, which has its own privacy policy and may set its own cookies, including one that credits us if the link is marked "paid link". We never learn what you bought.

Gifts and guides

Gifts and the seasonal guides are handled on the payment service's own page (Ko-fi for gifts, Gumroad for guides). They pass us what they need for a gift or a purchase, usually a name and an email address, and we use it only for that. Card details go to them, never to us.

Reply to any weekly email and it reaches us. If you want something removed, say so and it will be.
